Just had a great hearty dinner. I don't normally share recipes, but this was quick and easy to prepare- and will really fill up your belly!
I know how busy Moms are today, and its hard to make a hearty, home style dinner without a lot of fuss. All you really need is pork chops, green bean casserole fixings , and boxed stuffing. I first added two cans mushroom soup, spices, and a small amount if finely sliced onions, then added two cans of green beans to the mushroom mixture- making it all straight in the pan. Then top it with pork chops and made sure to sink them in the mixture just a bit. Then I mixed up some easy boxed stuffing in separate bowl, preferably a metal bowl. In a preheated oven at 400 degrees, I placed the pork chop/ green bean casserole in oven. Keep the bowl of stuffing on top of oven (it will begin to fluff with heat). Watch the pork chops and flip if necessary to cook thoroughly. Just before removing, scoop stuffing mixture on top of pork chops and cook till stuffing had desirable crisp just on top. Walla! One super filling meal- all in one. Two dish cleanup.
